The rheumatology attending physician makes daily rounds with a fellow, one or more medical residents, and medical students. The Division's consultation service includes one attending physician, one fellow and medical residents, who see patients throughout the three teaching hospitals. |
Our
faculty members evaluate and treat patients with various forms of
connective tissue disease, i.e. rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, scleroderma, dermatomyositis, polymyositis, and
vasculitis (Wegener's granulomatosis, etc), fibromyalgia, polymyalgia
rheumatica, and osteoporosis.
